A Private Whale Experience in Te Moana a Hiva

Join us in Mo’orea for a private whale expedition and experience the unforgettable encounter of swimming with humpback whales in Te Moana a Hiva — our greatest marae, also known as the Pacific Ocean.

Every year, humpback whales travel thousands of kilometers from Antarctica to the warm waters of French Polynesia, where they come to mate, give birth and care for their calves before returning south for the austral summer.

Our approach is deeply connected to our island and our relationship with the ocean. Our local team will guide you using our experience, our knowledge of the sea and our respect for the whales and all living beings of Te Moana a Hiva.

A Truly Private Experience

We welcome a maximum of 5 guests per tour, allowing us to offer a personal experience away from large groups.

Your expedition is operated by an experienced local team including a captain and a whale guide. We take the time to observe the ocean, understand the whales’ behavior and choose the right moment for an encounter, always with respect for the animals.

What’s Included

Snorkeling equipment, life jackets and drinking water are provided.

Current regulations require participants entering the water to wear a life jacket. You may also bring your own 3 mm wetsuit.

Children are welcome.

Half Day — 4 hours
€1,300 per private boat

Full Day — 6 hours
€1,900 per private boat

Full Day with Lunch — 7 hours
€2,300 per private boat

All tours are private for your group, with a maximum of 5 guests.
